MRAG Asia Pacific undertook an economic analysis of the current management practices of the tuna sector in Solomon Islands, and an economic analysis of opportunities for the Solomon Islands Government to increase value from the fishery. The project was undertaken in collaboration with Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources and in the context of assessing the economic merits of providing assistance to the development of onshore fish processing in the Solomon Islands.
